SUPPORT

At WGG Australia, we understand that sexual violence is a complex issue that affects every corner of our society. We exist because every individual deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered. Our organisation was born from the recognition that survivors need more than just immediate support – they need a complete ecosystem of education, community strength, and practical resources.

Founded by three law students who witnessed firsthand the gaps in support and education surrounding sexual violence, we've grown into a community-driven force for change. Our work stems from the belief that by addressing the root causes of sexual violence through education, while simultaneously providing robust support systems, we can create lasting societal change.

What sets us apart is our holistic approach – we don't just offer support services; we build communities, challenge systemic barriers, and create educational pathways that lead to real transformation. Every workshop we conduct, every resource we develop, and every survivor we support brings us closer to our vision of a society free from sexual violence.

WGG Australia is a dedicated charity organisation advocating for meaningful reforms in the areas of domestic, sexual, and family violence. Founded by three passionate law students — now practicing lawyers — in Newcastle, NSW, we have grown into a dynamic voice for change, driven by a commitment to supporting survivors and influencing systemic reform. At WGG Australia, we empower individuals, educate communities, and collaborate with key stakeholders to create a society that prioritises safety, equity, and justice for all. We lead impactful advocacy campaigns and strive to be at the forefront of change.
